Hidden inside each of these darling charms and tokens is a fortune that grows. Simply pull the string on the bottom of the owl to release the fortune. The fortune’s paper is embedded with seeds. After reading the fortune, sow it and watch your luck bloom! The fortunes are similar to traditional “o-mikuji” (paper fortunes that are usually received when making a small offering at a Japanese shrine or temple) and they cover eight aspects of life.
